Part A | Handover Record
Complete each handover section below. The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the information and documents supplied by Slide On Campers (“SOC”) that apply to the camper and for asking SOC any questions before confirming completion.
1. Supplied items and final documents
Confirm that the keys, accessories, leads and other supplied items included with the camper have been received, together with the final invoice, Purchase Terms and Warranty, Handover & Owner Care Record, and any supplied component manuals and relevant compliance documents for the camper.
☐ Completed
2. Loading, unloading and jacks
Confirm you understand the loading and unloading procedure and operation of the jack legs and brackets. Operate the jacks gradually and evenly on stable, reasonably level ground. Keep people clear and do not go beneath the camper at any time. Any assistance provided by SOC with loading, unloading or positioning does not extend to or constitute an inspection, certification or approval of the purchaser’s vehicle, equipment or proposed arrangement, or an assumption of liability.
☐ Completed
3. Mounting, vehicle suitability and tie-downs
Confirm you understand where the camper is fitted to the vehicle and where tie-downs attach to the camper. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable for carrying the camper and for supplying and using suitable tie-down equipment, attachment points and checks before travel. Any assistance provided by SOC with mounting, fitment or positioning does not extend to or constitute an inspection, certification or approval of the purchaser’s vehicle, equipment, attachment points or fitment arrangement, or an assumption of liability.
☐ Completed
4. Electrical, battery, gas, water and compliance systems
Confirm you understand the main electrical controls, battery monitor and fitted charging methods. Where fitted, confirm you understand the operation of the gas cooker, califont, fresh-water, wastewater and water-pump systems, and understand which gas, electrical and self-containment certification documents apply.
☐ Completed
5. Pop-top, canvas and storage
Confirm you understand the pop-top raising and lowering procedure. Keep canvas, bedding and other items clear of closing surfaces, dry wet canvas as soon as reasonably practical, and maintain reasonable ventilation during storage.
☐ Completed

Part B | Owner Care
Use these instructions for normal operation and care of the camper, together with the scheduled owner checks. This document records practical owner-care steps as between the purchaser and SOC only and does not replace the separate customer terms and conditions or any component manufacturer warranty information.
1. Before travel
Before moving the vehicle, make sure the roof is fully lowered, latched and locked. Keep canvas and bedding clear of closing surfaces, secure doors and loose equipment, disconnect external leads and hoses, and secure jacks or removable accessories. Check tie-downs and mounting points before travel.
2. Loading, unloading and jacks
Load and unload only on stable, reasonably level ground. Operate the jacks gradually and evenly. Keep people clear and do not go beneath the camper at any time.
Before using the camper, the purchaser should satisfy themselves that their vehicle is suitable for carrying the camper, including its weight, and that suitable tie-down equipment and vehicle attachment points are used before travel.
3. Battery and electrical care
Check the battery monitor periodically and keep the battery adequately charged during use and storage. Do not make unauthorised wiring changes or use charging equipment that is not suitable for the installed battery and electrical system.
Any 12-volt electrical system, inverter, battery, solar equipment, gas hot-water heater and other installed components should be used and maintained in accordance with the supplied manuals, installer instructions and any applicable certification documents.
4. Canvas and moisture care
Do not store the camper with wet canvas or a wet interior. If canvas is packed away wet, reopen and dry it completely as soon as reasonably practicable. Keep roof channels, seals and closing surfaces reasonably clean. Avoid directing high-pressure water at seals, joins, windows, canvas, vents or external penetrations. Maintain reasonable ventilation during storage. Where the camper is stored outside for an extended period, use a suitable breathable, weatherproof cover, correctly fitted and with appropriate ventilation, to protect the paintwork, seals, fastenings and exterior finishes.
Maintain the owner’s manual and warranty information for the camper. Keep copies of completed owner checks, service records, repairs and any relevant component warranty documents, as these may be required if a warranty or support request is made.
5. Owner checks
Complete an owner check at approximately 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and shortly before 12 months after handover. Each check is a quick owner inspection. Confirm each group once:
1. Seals and exterior: Check visible roof joins, seals, mouldings, windows, doors, vents and external penetrations and confirm they remain secure and in normal condition. ☐
2. Canvas and moisture: Check canvas, stitching and attachment areas and confirm the canvas and interior are dry, secure and in normal condition. ☐
3. Jacks, mounting and tie-down areas: Check for movement, wear or visible damage. Keep jack mechanisms and moving parts clean and lubricated, and check and tighten accessible mounting, fastening and tie-down points as necessary. ☐
4. Battery and electrical: Check the battery monitor, visible wiring and accessible connections, and confirm the charging and electrical systems are operating normally. ☐
5. Plumbing: Check accessible plumbing, hoses and fittings, and confirm the water system and pump are operating normally. ☐
6. General condition: Check the camper generally, including accessible fittings and fasteners, and confirm everything is secure and in normal condition. ☐
Completion of each scheduled check remains the purchaser’s responsibility.
Completion of the scheduled 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and pre-12-month owner checks is a condition of the SOC 12-month voluntary warranty. If a required check is not completed, SOC may decline voluntary warranty coverage for an issue that the missed check was intended to identify, monitor or prevent. SOC may also decline voluntary warranty coverage to the extent deterioration was caused or contributed to by inadequate storage, including failure to use a suitable breathable, weatherproof and appropriately ventilated cover during extended outdoor storage, or any other failure to follow the manufacturer or SOC’s reasonable instructions.
If the camper is collected by, or released to, a carrier arranged by the purchaser, the purchaser should keep the carrier booking details, collection notes and delivery records with their owner documents.
